National Non-Smoking Week
National Non Smoking Week is recognized for one week every year in January. This is a time for the community to get informed about a specific hot topic within tobacco control. Workplaces are encouraged to support the annual campaign by posting promotional material provided by Elgin St. Thomas Public Health throughout their workplace. World No Tobacco Day
World No Tobacco Day is celebrated around the world every year on May 31. This annual awareness day is recognized by the World Health Organization. It is a time to raise awareness about the effects of tobacco use across the globe! It has become the inaugural day for implementation of new smoke-free legislation in many provinces and countries.
