The Ontario Breast Screening Program, Ontario Cervical Screening Program and ColonCancerCheck are the three provincially funded screening programs for Ontario residents. The Canadian Cancer Society offers a link on their website which asks for your postal code or the postal code of your patient. Numerous links will then be displayed e.g. to places to stay during treatment, for transportation, financial help, pain & symptom management support groups and much more.

Cancer View Canada connects Canadians to online services, information and resources for cancer control. This ever-evolving portal brings together resources for cancer prevention, screening, treatment, and supportive, palliative and end-of-life care. It also links people in the Canadian cancer community to each other. On the left side menu, there is a link to features for Health Care Professionals

Finally, Cancer Information Service (1-888-939-3333; info@cis.cancer.ca) offers comprehensive information about cancer and community resources, and peer support service for your patients and their families.
